The main objective of our Conferences and Certification Programs is to promote education and professional development of our members in a setting that allows for the interaction between Students and Moderators, so that we can all grow and learn together. Employer imposed travel restrictions, limits on crowd size, and health concerns have made it clear that we will be unable to meet that objective in Bossier City, Louisiana during our 2020 Annual Conference and Certification Program. Therefore, the Southwestern Section IMSA’s Board of Directors has agreed to cancel the June 2020 Annual Conference and Certification Program at the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel in Bossier City, Louisiana.
At this time, please move forward with cancelling any hotel reservation and travel arrangements you have made for this event. Further information regarding the refund of registration fees will be sent at a later date. I would like to express my deepest thanks to all of the Southwestern Section IMSA’s Leadership for all the hard work throughout the year to ensure successful Conferences as I am sure this one would have been. I know Technical Sessions were in the works and I know the information you have to share is valuable to our membership and we will work to reschedule some of these presentations at our Fall Conference at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas.
Our next scheduled Conference is our 2020 Fall Conference and Certification Program at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas November 8-13, 2020.
I know that this is not the outcome that we had hoped for, but protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our members, attendees, and their families is our main concern. The Southwestern Section IMSA is a strong and financially fit organization and will remain so. Thank you for you understanding.
Randy Wellhausen, President
Southwestern Section IMSA

Safety is our number one priority. As such, the IMSA Board of Directors made the difficult decision this past Friday to cancel the 2020 Forum & Expo in Reno, Nevada.
For those that have registered on reserved an exhibitor booth, please look out for an email later this week. We appreciate your patience as we work out the details of this change.
IMSA is here to serve your during these challenging times. We are in the process of exploring options to offer virtual tech sessions this summer so that you can continue to accrue CECs and keep connected with those in the industry with as little disruption as possible. Stay tuned.
